Syllabus

A syllabus should give clear information about courses. It should set forth what is expected to happen during the semester or year, delineate the responsibilities of students and of the instructor, and describe appropriate procedures and course policies. To do this, a syllabus should include the following

  1. 1. Topics and readings to be covered in sequence with dates
  2. 2. Standards and criteria for graded assignments and Practicals.
  3. 3. Description of how the final grade will be computed with a breakdown of the ranges for each letter grade.
  4. 4. Academic integrity policy.
  5. 5. Attendance policy.
  6. 6. Plan for working days and Holidays
