Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) and Ombudsperson:
 
  • SGRC

    The SGRC is a committee that handles grievances from students about academic, administrative, or personal matters. The SGRC's purpose is to ensure that complaints are handled fairly and promptly.

    • CompositionThe SGRC is made up of the college principal as the chairperson, three senior teaching faculty members, and a student representative.
    • Grievance submissionStudents can submit grievances to the SGRC by filling out a form, emailing it, or sending it as a handwritten letter to the chairperson.
    • Grievance resolutionThe SGRC will send a report with recommendations to the student and the institution within 15 days of receiving the complaint.
    • AppealsStudents can appeal to the Ombudsperson if they are not satisfied with the SGRC's decision.


    Ombudsperson

  • The Ombudsperson is a person who investigates, reports on, and helps settle complaints. The Ombudsperson will hear appeals from students after they have exhausted all other remedies. The Ombudsperson will pass an order to redress the grievance and provide relief to the student.
