Orientation Programmes

Overviews:

The orientation programme is organized annually at Rai Saheb Bhanwar Singh College as “Pravesh Utsav”. In the beginning of their first year, students need to become acquainted with their surroundings on campus. This includes introductory sessions, giving them an overview of college and university life; the rules and regulations mandated for each student in our college. It is an essential programme at the beginning of the college session that allows the students to get settled in their new environment. The coordinator of every stream sets a model for an introductory orientation programme that includes academic as well as social activities.

Introducing Students to a college life:

This is one of the most essential aspects of an orientation programme at Rai Saheb Bhanwar Singh College, irrespective of the nature of the course. Students need to be made aware of the social environment of college. This social factor most definitely includes the extracurricular activities, events, workshops, and other special training programmes available at the college.

“Pravesh Utsav”, most importantly, aims at giving an overview of the academic course pursued by the students. By getting a rough idea of academic expectations, students are prepared for the challenges they might face during their graduation or post-graduation programmes.
