NSS Rai Saheb Bhanwar Singh College is driven by a dedicated workforce of student and faculty volunteers. These volunteers are actively involved in social development activities. NSS was established in RSB College in the year 2014-15.

The motto of the National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) is “Not Me, But You”, This expresses the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless services and appreciation of another man’s point of view and also shows consideration for fellow human beings. The NSS aims to demonstrate this motto in its day-to-day activities. It includes the spirit of voluntary work among the students and teaches through continuous community interaction. It brings students closer to society. The overall objective is the personality development of students and orients them toward community service. The activities include a visit to the nearby villages, counseling people regarding health and hygiene, etc. National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was launched in Gandhi ji’s Birth Centenary Year 1969.In RSB college NSS unit involving 101 students in session 2022-23. The primary focus is on the development of the personality of students through community service.
