Learning Outcomes

The college has clearly stated learning outcomes of the Programs and Courses. The following mechanism is followed by the institution to communicate the learning outcomes to the teachers and students.

  1. 1. Hard Copy of syllabi and learning outcomes are available in the departments as a ready reference to the teachers and students.
  2. 2. The importance of the learning outcomes has been communicated to the teachers in every IQAC meeting and college committee meeting.
  3. 3. The students are also made aware of the same through tutorial meetings.
  4. 4. Workshops have also been conducted for developing the Programmes Educational Objectives and Learning outcomes at college level.

The institution is running Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses for the students. There are 5 departments (Science, Commerce, Humanities, Education, and library) in RAI SAHEB BHANWAR SINGH COLLEGE.

UNDER GRADUATION (B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA,) POST GRADUATION (M.Sc., M.Com., M.A., PGDCA)

1. Programme Outcomes of Science:

1. To mould a generation of youth who can apply the subject knowledge to their lives and careers.

  • 2. To inculcate a scientific attitude enriched with a multidisciplinary perspective in the students.
  • 3. To update the students with the needs of the industry and society
  • 4. To develop a generation that feels responsible towards society and the nation.

2. Programme Outcomes of Commerce:

  1. 1. To inculcate the knowledge of business and the techniques of managing the business, with a special focus on marketing, insurance, and banking theory, law, and practices.
  • 2. To impart knowledge of basic accounting principles and the latest application-oriented corporate accounting methods.
  • 3. To develop decision-making skills through costing methods and the practical application of management accounting principles.
  • 4. To enhance the horizons of knowledge in various fields of commerce, including entrepreneurship.

  1. 1. Students will demonstrate craftsmanship in their work.

  1. 1. To train the students for the pedagogy method.
  2. 2. To make students understand how to develop the hand, heart and head of others.
  3. 3. To make understand and enhance their communication skills.
  4. 4. To use different methods of teaching according the competencies of the students.

5. Programme Outcomes of Library:

  1. 1. A bachelor’s degree in library information and science is a 1-year professional course.
  2. 2. After completing B.Lib, one can pursue M.Lib and take the UGC Net Exam for further research.
  3. 3. One can work in library management, foreign embassies, museums and galleries with reading rooms and research facilities, news agencies, public and private libraries, and photo and film libraries.

AFTER COMPLETE Course Outcomes of M.Sc (Bio Technology):

  1. 1. After completing M.sc one can work in any field related to biotechnology.
  2. 2. One can get employed in scientific sector as well as non-scientific sector.
  3. 3. The person can also apply for CSIR-net if further wants to do research.
  4. 4. One can also work in the field of teaching as a Teacher, Assistant Professor or Professor.
  5. 5. The person can also opt the field of research and in future can work as a researcher. 
  6. 6. They can seek out their career in forestry, horticulture, research laboratory, government and corporate job can also be done.

7. AFTER COMPLETE Course Outcomes in M.Sc. (CHEMISTRY)

    • .1 After completing M.sc., one can work in any field related to Chemistry.

      • 2. After completing B.Sc. one can pursue M.Sc. in the interested subject.
      • 3. One can get employment in scientific sector as well as non-scientific sector.
      • 4. The person can also apply for CSIR-net if further wants to do research.
      • 5. One can also work in the field of teaching as a Teacher, Assistant Professor or Professor.
      • 6. The person can also go in the field of research and in future he/she can work

      as a researcher.

      • 2. After completing B.SC, one can pursue M.SC in the subject of interest.
      • 3.One can pursue a PhD in biotechnology.
      • 4. One can go into the field of research after completing a M.Sc.
