The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of foodborne illness, with proper sanitary conditions, and preventing adulterated food. It is being operated since 2021. The canteen is located inside the Rai Saheb Bhanwar Singh College. The Students and Teachers are provided meals to assuring food safety and quality.

The students, who come from faraway places, start their journey to the College early in the morning. many day scholars use canteen facilities for their breakfast and evening tea with snacks. 

The Management of the Canteen is directly under the control of the College Administration. The Contractor of the Canteen is selected according to the available and suitable quotations. A well-experienced person in food services management, his team is managing, the canteen of Rai Saheb Bhanwar Singh College. Students and staff of the College are benefited by the College canteen. 

 The menu will be planned by the assigned team of Management and instructions will be given to the Contractor.  The contract of the Canteen is renewed every year. The periodical meeting will be conducted by the team of Management and Contractor in order to appraise the function of the Canteen. Liberalization of food trade, growing consumer demand, physical setup, and sanitary conditions are also discussed during the appraisal.  Also, suggestions, complaints, and problems of the food consumers are taken into consideration.


As many students come from distant places, the students need to have nutritious food and refreshments at affordable prices to participate in daily academic activities actively. The college canteen plays an important role in this regard by catering to the daily nutritional requirements of students and staff members.

The canteen is primarily responsible for serving nutritious and hygienic food to the students and staff.

  • 1.  The students, teaching & non-teaching staff, andvisitors would have the pleasure of enjoying healthy food in a pleasant and soothing environment. Time would be consumed for finding food in a single place, a variety of selective food at low prices.
  • 2.  The canteen would attract a greater number of students which would enhance the economy. The canteen would match the standard of the college.
  • 3.  An increase in the economy would foster maintenance and the addition of infrastructure property. Students would remain healthy and free from the confusion of food-related diseases.
