It is situated 90 km from Bhopal in west, 55 km from Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) and 70 km from Harda in the east and 72 km from Sehore. It is a place enriched with natural beauty and many religious Salkanpur Temple is situated 25 km from here.

 

Another famous religious place Neelkanth situated on the bank of Narmada is 7 km from Bhairunda (Nasrullaganj). It has its own importance as it is also mentioned in Veda. Other religious destinations around Bhairunda (Nasrullaganj) are Gularpura, Ramgarha, Chhipaner and Vasudev.

 

Rai Saheb Bhanwar Singh College, Bhairunda (Nasrullaganj) was established by well-known personality and social reformer Kunwar Indrajeet Singh Ji Bhati in memory of his beloved father Shri Rai Saheb Bhanwar Singh Ji (Sonthia) in 2001. The main purpose of establishing the college was to provide high quality education that would help the students to make their career.
